FAQ
Quels sont les documents nécessaires pour partir en voyage?
1-Check the travel vouchers, airfare, cruise, hotel name, etc.. to ensure they are as requested and the names, dates and destinations are correct.
2- Do you have travel insurance? Medical costs abroad can be very expensive and only partially covered by your health insurance or insurance you get through your credit card or employer. Before leaving on vacation, learn what is really covered and purchase travel insurance to cover any needs. Call us to find out what insurance you need.
3- AMake sure your passport is valid. Some countries require that you have a passport valid for six months after the expected date of return. Some countries do not require passports from Canadian citizens; however, it is a travel document that we recommend to travel outside the country.
4- Other documents: It is your responsibility to have in your possession all the travel documents that may be required by the authorities of the country where you stay, at your expense. The documents required for travel vary from one country to another and also according to the country of your passport. Some examples of these documents can be the passport, visa, study permit, a residence permit, etc. and certificates of vaccination. Some countries may also require seeing your return ticket or proof of solvency or health. If you do not know what documents you need, please contact the consulates or embassies of the countries you visit or with the authorities of your country of origin. The laws of each country is rapidly evolving, be careful and properly prepare your trip. The traveler who does not have the necessary documents to travel may be denied access on board the airline, a cruise or entry to the country of transit or final destination. In such cases, cancellation charges apply and Bonitour.com takes no responsibility.
5- To get out of Canada, in the case of a parent traveling with a minor, you need a notarized statement of the parent who does not travel, allowing the parent traveling with the minor to make the journey.

What is an electronic ticket?
Since 2003, more and more companies use electronic tickets. It involves travelling information, a flight ticket, a package, a hotel reservation, etc that do not have paper size formation along with copies for every part of the trip like in the past. These information are registered under your name with involved companies and service providers can easily find them all along your trip. You will have a copy of your reservation information that you have registered by email simply for a practical question reminding you of the timetable of your trip. Generally when you arrive at the airline counter at the airport for example, all you need to do is to prove your identity to have access to the services previously reserved. Airline companies succeed in saving millions of dollars with this new approach. It is also very advantageous for you since there are no reasons to lose your ticket. The majority of companies do not charge any amount for the loss of an electronic ticket.
